Two Brothers, One Land

Property: 19,375 sf (0.44 acres)

Built-up area: 2 custom homes, 3,400 sf each (4 beds, 4 1/2 baths)

This project brings two homes together on a single sloped site, designed for two brothers and their families. Each house is placed at a different level and subtly angled to maintain privacy and take full advantage of the surrounding views. The architecture draws inspiration from the vernacular stone houses of the Lebanese mountains—flat roofs, arched forms, and natural materials. But these elements are reinterpreted with restraint: simplified arches, unembellished stone, and a modern sensibility that keeps the design honest, warm, and rooted in its place.
